Is Imagine and Explore Preschool a childcare?

No, we are not a full time child care. We are a half day preschool program and serve students ages 3-6 years old.

How many hours is in your school day? 

Our school day is a fun three hour day. Our morning classes run from 8:45am-11:45am and our afternoon classes run from 12:45pm-3:45pm.

Do you offer before or after school programs?

No, we do not offer any before or after school programs.

​

Do you have to be in the Millard school district to attend Imagine and Explore Preschool?

No, absolutely not. We have many students from Elkhorn, Gretna, Millard and even Papillion. We do follow the Millard Public Schools calendar but we welcome children from any school district.

Is the 5 day program the only Pre-K option?

No, we offer our Pre-K curriculum in our 3 day and our 2 day classes. 

​

When does Imagine and Explore's school year begin and end?

Our regular school year runs August through May. We will register students all year round, as long as there is availability. If we have an opening in your schedule of choice, your student may start immediately.

Does Imagine and Explore offer summer camps?

Yes, we do! We love summer! Starting in March, current students and the public may register their child for daily or weekly themed summer camps. This is a separate registration from our regular school program.

 

Does my child have to be potty trained to attend Imagine and Explore?

Yes, we ask that your child be potty trained. Although, we understand that potty training can be difficult and we can work with families on a case by case basis. We do ask that the child at least has attempted going potty on their own.

 

Do you use technology in your classrooms? (Computers, tablets, etc.)

No, we do not use screen time in our classrooms or as part of our curriculum. We believe that our time is best spent learning, playing, dancing, singing and laughing. We only have three hours together each day and we like to make the most of it. 

 

How many students are in each classroom?

Each classroom can have up to 10 students and has 1 teacher. If all students are Pre-K, then the class could go up to 12 students and 1 teacher.
